I am a writer of Western fiction. My new novel, Rusty Springs, was published in
April.
Your website would not allow entry to the rules and submission page.
Please send me the link.
I attended the conference when you held it in Spokane, WA. It was more fun that a girl desires. My novel begins in Winnemucca in a casino and follows Kitty into the wilds of Montana so I really hope to find a way to enter the book in the Spur contest.
Sincerely,
Jo Ann Bender
Jo Ann,
I have privately sent you the Spur Award Rules. I just checked the link on our page, and it is working for me.
Thank you for your interest!

I have read the rules for Spur award entry in long novel.
My novel is set in Nevada and Montana. It has been receiving high marks for
sense of place and to surviving in rural areas.
Therefore, is Rusty Springs, a contemporary novel of the west, eligible for entry?
Sincerely,
Jo Ann Bender
P.S. Thanks for sending a link to rules, etc. It connected!
