Accessing the New Member Portal

An email was recently sent to members introducing the new Western Writers of America Member Portal and providing instructions for first-time access.

If you did not receive the email or are having trouble accessing your account, follow the steps below.

The Member Portal provides one convenient place to view your membership status, update your contact information, and maintain your author profile.

First-Time Login

  1. Visit the WWA Member Login.
  2. Click Lost Password?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your membership.
  4. Click Get New Password.
  5. Check your email for a message from Western Writers of America and follow the password-reset link. If you don’t see the message, check your Spam or Junk folder.
  6. Create and confirm your new password.
  7. Return to the login page and sign in using your email address and new password.

Email Address Not Recognized?

Your Member Portal account was created using the email address the organization had on file when membership records were transferred to the new system.

If your current email address is not recognized—or you no longer have access to the email address previously associated with your membership—please do not create a new account.

Instead, contact the Webmaster, Jake Stetler  and include:

  • Your full name
  • Pen name, if applicable
  • Current email address
  • Previous email address, if known
  • City and state/province

We will locate your existing membership record and help you access your account.

Review Your Member Profile

Once logged in, go to My Account → Edit Profile and review your contact information, mailing address, author biography, website, and social media links.

Please confirm your mailing address to ensure uninterrupted delivery of Roundup magazine and other WWA correspondence.

Need Assistance?

For questions about your membership status, membership level, dues, or other membership matters, please contact Membership Chair, Jim Jones.

For Member Portal access, password, or other technical problems, contact Webmaster, Jake Stetler.

More Is Coming

In the near future, the Member Portal will also become the home for member-exclusive resources, including a searchable Member Directory and other materials available only to members.
